QuietAgent.com goes Mass Market with Innovative Rapid Hiring and Selection Offering

Chicago, IL (August 25, 2009) – QuietAgent.com, the leading provider of online rapid hiring technology for job seekers and employers, today announced the appointment of seasoned tech CEO Curt J. Witte as its new Chief Executive Officer and President. Witte will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the company’s global operations, and driving explosive growth of its simple-to-use Adaptive Selection™ rapid hiring tools.

Witte will be taking the QuietAgent.com technology to a massive market of employers and candidates who are just plain fed up with the problems of selection and hiring. Witte says, “The current model is totally broken in terms of high cost, long time-to-hire and poor candidate fit. U.S. employers spent $58 billion last year with companies like Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Facebook, Manpower, Google and Yahoo, to connect the right opportunity with the right candidate, while candidates spent hours frantically sifting through thousands of inappropriate opportunities, sending out resumes and registering on dozens of job boards and social media sites. QuietAgent.com is on a mission to constantly evolve its technology to dramatically slash cost and hiring time, while improving candidate fit – through its unique Adaptive Selection™ technology that seamlessly connects candidates and employers without all that friction.”

Witte continues, “In today’s environment of 10%+ unemployment, it is totally unacceptable that millions of jobs sit unfilled because the selection and hiring tools available are costly, slow and not designed to solve the real problem of getting people hired faster. We are very passionate about solving that inequity, and I strongly encourage everyone, employed or not, recruiters and job seekers, to come to www.quietagent.com today and register, so we can help America get back to work faster.”

Mr. Witte has a proven track record of success in software, business services and technology with over 15 years of experience, from scaling start-up ventures by over 14x, to running $10b Fortune 50 lines of business, with specific experience in strategy, marketing, sales, product management, finance and business development. He has held senior positions at leading companies including: AT&T (NYSE: T), Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), Lexington Financial Partners, First Investors Corp, CommSoft Partners LLC, Peopleclick and Firm58. As CEO of Peopleclick, he raised $33m of VC funding, increased revenue 2400% and increased clients from 40 to 3000. His successes at Firm58 included increasing revenue 500%, and completing an $8.5m capital raise. Mr. Witte graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in economics and was a Rothschild Scholar at the Kellogg School at Northwestern University where he received an MBA.

Jason Kerr moves from CEO into the role of Chairman and Chief Technology Officer, focused on corporate strategy, industry evangelism, product strategy and infrastructure scaling. Kerr says that it is Witte’s “wealth of expertise in mass commercialization and scaling emerging growth companies” that provided the right fit for this, the fifth leading-edge technology company he has founded.

Kerr says, “In 2009 we are seeing triple digit growth in job seekers and clients. With Curt coming on board, I am now able to focus on ensuring we continually evolve the technology towards our goals. In the next few months we will release a ‘game-changing’ upgrade that delivers on the promise of ‘instant candidate selection’ for recruiters, and significantly increases job seekers’ interviews.”

QuietAgent.com’s leading Adaptive Selection™ hiring tools have been used since 2004 by employers, recruiters, governments and workforce and community organizations to pinpoint the best qualified and mutually interested anonymous candidates. QuietAgent.com is the power behind the recently launched United We Work initiative (www.unitedwework.org), a free, nationwide recruiting service designed to stimulate hiring in America.

New technology puts unemployed job seekers in front of local job opportunities on a daily basis.

Milwaukee, WI (August 18, 2009) – The Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board (MAWIB), along with City of Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, today announced a ‘game-changing’ program for ensuring local unemployed workers have the best chance of being found. MAWIB has implemented the QuietAgent Workforce Edition; a collaborative employment technology that networks twelve MAWIB funded agencies to ensure their job-ready candidates can be easily found and hired by local employers.

MAWIB’s Workforce Network of public and private partners, including Maximus, YWCA, UMOS, Job Service, Hire Center, Milwaukee Urban League, Interfaith Older Adult Programs, UWM Career Transition Center, Racine City Workforce Development Center, Kaiser Group, Policy Studies Inc., and the PACE Program at the Milwaukee Area Technical Colleges will now be able to collaborate and share their job-ready candidates, in order to get more people employed faster, and meet local employer demand.

The QuietAgent Workforce Edition provides a common connection between workforce agencies, their job-ready candidates and local employers. All job-ready candidates across participating agencies reside in one database and can be seen and accessed by any participating agency as well as any local employer.

“The QuietAgent technology enables us to work cooperatively to leverage our current resources so we can meet and anticipate our regional economic needs,” says MAWIB’s Business Service Team Leader, Jerry Roberts.

The real power of QuietAgent is that it seamlessly connects MAWIB’s job-ready candidates to thousands of employers who may not know about MAWIB services, thereby extending the reach MAWIB has to place its job-ready candidates into the community.

“One of the main reasons we went with the QuietAgent technology, is that it continually exposes our job-ready candidates to a growing list of employers who use other QuietAgent services to find and hire candidates,” says Delores Graves, MAWIB’s Business Services Manager. “These employers include the large corporations of AllianceQ such as AT&T, ARAMARK, Staples, 7-Eleven, Best Buy, Bank of America, Office Depot, Sears, Starbucks and many other major corporations, as well as thousands of smaller businesses.”

QuietAgent.com (another of QuietAgent’s services) is a publicly accessible candidate database that employers use to find job candidates. When an employer searches QuietAgent.com they now seamlessly search and are presented MAWIB job-ready candidates in the candidate shortlists.

“Government workforce programs will be truly effective only when unemployed candidates are seamlessly searched and presented to employers during the employer’s normal hiring practice” says Gary Scheier, Director of Government Programs for QuietAgent. “Reaching and engaging employers to use local, state and government funded programs, is a constant battle for workforce organizations. QuietAgent solves that key issue by making the process to search and engage unemployed job-ready candidates easy for employers.”

Since 2004 the QuietAgent Workforce Edition has powered the entire unemployment system for the nation of New Zealand. “Following our success in New Zealand, which for years has sustained unemployment rates that are nearly half that of the US, we are focused on working with forward thinking US government agencies like the MAWIB, to swiftly get people back to work and aggressively cut the unacceptably high US unemployment rates that are causing some much pain in communities” said Curt Witte, CEO of QuietAgent. “With over $500 million in Federal workforce grants available in the next 60 days alone, we are contacting WIBs, States, CBOs and local governments to assist them in accessing these funds.”

####

About the Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board
In partnership with local leaders from government, private industry and labor, MAWIB develops workforce solutions that meet and anticipate regional economic development needs. For employers we offer specialized training programs and innovative human resource services to provide the skilled workers they need to remain competitive and contribute to a robust economy. For job seekers, we provide the resources to keep pace with today’s job market. For more information, please contact Jerry Roberts: jerry.roberts@milwaukeewib.org.

About QuietAgent
QuietAgent is a third-generation employment selection network. Its Workforce Edition enables collaborative employment networks to be built on a common platform connecting education, small business, major corporations, local, state and government programs and the wider community, under a public-private partnership to reduce unemployment. QuietAgent has offices in San Diego, Chicago, New York and Auckland New Zealand.

UnitedWeWork.org seeks to eliminate recruitment costs for every employer in the U.S.

CHICAGO (July 13, 2009) – As U.S. unemployment rates near an all time high, unemployed workers need quick and efficient ways to match their skills with open job opportunities. To facilitate the connection between job seekers and employers, AllianceQ today announced the launch of UnitedWeWork.org, a free recruitment service available to employers of all sizes and workers of all levels and skills. Major companies including, 7-Eleven, ADP, Allstate, AT&T, Hewitt Associates, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Office Depot, Sears Holdings, and Starbucks have partnered with AllianceQ to kick off the massive recruitment effort.

The average American has more than 30,000 places to search for work, and American employers spend around $60 billion a year trying to find and hire new employees. According to a survey by the Employment Management Association, the average cost to post an open position, identify the appropriate candidate and fill the position is around $10,000. UnitedWeWork.org will connect employers with job seekers with no recruiting, job posting or advertising fees.

“In this economy we are seeing far more job seekers and far fewer jobs; to the point where some job boards have actually taken to charging job seekers to help them find work.” said Phil Haynes, Director of AllianceQ. “UnitedWeWork.org is the only significant offering to allow companies to save on job posting and search and recruitment fees, as well as give all job seekers an equal chance to be found and hired.”

Companies that join UnitedWeWork.org will have access to advanced matching technologies to generate a “shortlist” of qualified, skilled and interested job seekers that are matched based on skills, competencies and work preferences. Candidates are re-evaluated daily as new jobs are posted.

“As a founding member of AllianceQ, ADP is proud to support the United We Work initiative. This alliance creates access to a no cost, easy-to-use community that connects candidates and companies,” said Benito Cachinero, Corporate Vice President of Human Resources for ADP, Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of business outsourcing solutions to over 585,000 clients.

“The economy has made it very difficult for job seekers to quickly narrow in on companies that have open opportunities,” said Daisy Vanderlinde, Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Office Depot. “Using a recruiting service that is free for employers will help connect qualified candidates with more job opportunities more quickly than a traditional job search.”

Through UnitedWeWork.org, U.S. employers will be able to access a candidate database of people ranging across all experience levels and skill sets. Companies will be able to access the database free for the remainder of 2009. For businesses with fewer than 100 employees, the offer continues through July 2010.

AllianceQ is powered by QuietAgent, a next-generation job matching network. Companies and candidates can visit www.UnitedWeWork.org to learn more.

Next generation applicant filtering technology frees HR resources and can reduce costs by up to 80 percent

Chicago, IL – (March 31, 2009) – QuietAgent today launched Q-Filter, a next generation applicant filtering technology that improves the performance of a company’s recruiting function by ensuring that only the most qualified and interested applicants are presented to recruiters, enabling companies to more effectively match the best candidates. Q-Filter significantly increases recruiter productivity and can reduce a company’s applicant tracking system (ATS) hosting cost by up to 80 percent.

“In the current economic environment more people are applying to fewer jobs than ever before, putting a major strain on a company’s recruiting staff” says Jason Kerr, CEO of QuietAgent. “This increased workload reduces the time recruiters have to properly review and manage applicants, making it harder for companies to identify potential employees.”

Q-Filter integrates with a company’s existing ATS and allows employers to automatically match applicants - based on a detailed job profile that includes their skills, career desires and their work preferences - and “invite” matching applicants to apply for job openings that are relevant to their skills and career level.

Q-Filter can also sit in front of the ATS, significantly reducing applicant flow joining the ATS to only the best matched candidates based on specific, fully-customized criteria. When implemented in this mode, Q-Filter can reduce ATS hosting and data storage costs, as well as help mitigate privacy and data compliance issues.

Q-Filter utilizes QuietAgent’s proprietary candidate profile and job matching technology, which is used by Fortune 100 companies and governments, and is also the technology behind AllianceQ.

“It’s a growing problem for companies of all sizes” continues Kerr. “The reach of the Internet has made it hard to control the quality and quantity of people who apply, and that has a real cost to a business.”

Q-Filter ensures that job applicants are directed to openings where they have the best chance to succeed, and it allows recruiters to spend more time with fewer, but more qualified, candidates to ensure they make the right hire.

New Career Profile Dashboard released today gives job seekers a chance to compare their skills and working styles to a wider range of jobs

Chicago, IL (February 26, 2009) – QuietAgent today released new career tools to help job seekers, enabling them to determine if their skills might be a fit for occupations they had not previously considered. The innovative tools allow job seekers to compare themselves to their ‘dream job’, while also exploring whether they have the necessary skills and attributes to work in a wide range of jobs profiled by O*Net, the U.S. Department of Labor’s leading source of occupation information.

To use the new QuietAgent tools, job seekers first complete a simple, graphical profile that gives them a report of their strongest characteristics and qualities that emerge. They can also create a customized skills list to add to their résumé, and browse through more than 1,400 jobs to see how well they meet the important goals and skills required of each opportunity.

”With company layoffs at a record high, more and more job seekers are applying for fewer jobs,” said Jason Kerr, CEO of QuietAgent. “Our new tools encourage people to research and consider occupations that they may have no previous experience in, but that may be a perfect fit for their skills. The result is an expansion of their opportunity to be employed and a chance for employers to find more qualified candidates.”

The new Career Profile Dashboard gives job seekers a range of tools they can use to help them refine their résumés and improve their chances of being found for a job. A résumé quality indicator shows how various sections of their résumé could be improved in order to compete with the best job seekers within QuietAgent. A “people similar to me” feature shows job seekers how many others have similar types of education, work experience, skills, experience with tools and technologies, and work preferences.

Kerr said that feedback about the dashboard has been overwhelmingly positive, and that in a difficult economic climate, job seekers know that a change in approach may be required. “Job seekers love being able to see how they might fit into a potential job, and are also very keen to find out areas for possible improvement.”

As the technology provider behind AllianceQ, the powerful and growing group of American companies combining their recruiting strength, QuietAgent is focused on delivering the very best tools to help bring the right job seekers and employers together. Said Kerr, “Unlike professional and social networks LinkedIn and Facebook, QuietAgent is solely dedicated to careers, and giving job seekers the very best tools to assist and connect them throughout the course of their working lives.”

Global, proven technology offers a new way for government and community-based organizations to work together to assist the country’s growing number of unemployed

Chicago, IL (January 28, 2009) – QuietAgent today announced the enterprise release of its Workforce Management Edition (WME), which will enable cities across the country to implement a common technology for efficiently managing opportunities for the unemployed and underemployed.

The QuietAgent WME is a web-based toolset designed specifically for capturing and managing profiles for the unemployed and underemployed through community programs, and advancing them to become workforce-ready candidates. Its goal is to provide an infrastructure that allows various organizations to build employment communities that are able to connect to each other in a controlled, private and secure manner.

Changes released today, which also deliver full self-service web tools for able workforce candidates, are in preparation for a city-wide implementation to be announced in March. The implementation will see all Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and public entities such as the Mayor’s Office connect and collaborate using the WME technology.

The WME has been used for over five years by workforce organizations and governments globally, powering New Zealand’s entire welfare system job matching program since 2004. It has also been used by non-profit agency National Able since 2006 to help people enter or re-enter the workforce as quickly and easily as possible.

The system allows CBO case workers to maintain quality résumé information in one place for all their job seeker clients. When jobs become available, searches can be created to match an employer’s needs, and shortlists of suitable candidates can be presented for interview. QuietAgent employers in the wider community also search all workforce job seekers every time they search to fill a job, while maintaining the anonymity of the workforce job seeker and involving their case worker in the recruitment process.

With the Bureau of Labor Statistics reporting large and widespread job losses across most major industry sectors during December, and a rising unemployment rate of 7.2 percent, workforce organizations will face an increased workload in 2009.

“The WME gives workforce organizations sophisticated tools to optimize their daily job matching and placement activities,” said Jason Kerr, CEO of QuietAgent. “Having the ability to utilize QuietAgent’s powerful links with other government and workforce organizations and local community employers and recruiters will allow unprecedented efficiencies in connecting people to jobs.”

Job seekers move to a ‘single résumé for any job in any country’, and employers can now confidently consider candidates with overseas qualifications.

Chicago, IL (December 12, 2008) – QuietAgent today announced the launch of its latest innovation in anonymous data matching; the ability for job seekers to accurately specify their education by selecting from global qualification listings in their local language – and the ability for employers to find people who have completed foreign qualifications that are equivalent to what they are looking for.

Recruiters in some industries, such as those who source health professionals, are often experts in analyzing global equivalencies for desired qualifications. But for most employers, foreign qualifications represent a huge obstacle in the recruitment process, with many reluctant to consider non-US qualifications or certifications.

QuietAgent CEO Jason Kerr explains, “An employer might search QuietAgent for candidates who have a minimum of, say, a US Masters Degree in Business. QuietAgent can now also show them candidates who have the equivalent qualifications from other countries. Basically, we have mapped the education curriculum globally.”

QuietAgent’s single global résumé already allows job seekers to easily capture their globally transferable skills, qualifications, workplace tasks and working styles and preferences. “Adding education was the next logical step,” says Kerr.

QuietAgent strives to build tools that allow any employer to easily become a sophisticated recruiter. Kerr continues “You don’t need to do the research to find out that the Spanish ‘Título de Licenciado’ is equivalent to a US Masters Degree. QuietAgent carries out the intelligent data match for you.”

Kerr concludes, “From the very beginning with QuietAgent, we set out to solve the problems of online recruitment, and to better serve the wants and needs of job seekers, employers and recruiters globally. The work we have undertaken in 2008 has taken us a major step towards truly revolutionizing the experience of recruiting; the creation of a single, globally understandable résumé for any job in any country.”

QuietAgent’s candidate matching tools have been used since 2004 by employers, recruiters, governments and workforce and community organizations to pinpoint the best qualified and mutually interested anonymous candidates. QuietAgent is the power behind AllianceQ, a collaboration of industry-leading Fortune 500 companies that have come together to build a free, exclusive and continually growing pool of job candidates to drive down their cost of recruiting.
