Next generation applicant filtering technology frees HR resources and can reduce costs by up to 80 percent
Chicago, IL – (March 31, 2009) – QuietAgent today launched Q-Filter, a next generation applicant filtering technology that improves the performance of a company’s recruiting function by ensuring that only the most qualified and interested applicants are presented to recruiters, enabling companies to more effectively match the best candidates. Q-Filter significantly increases recruiter productivity and can reduce a company’s applicant tracking system (ATS) hosting cost by up to 80 percent.
“In the current economic environment more people are applying to fewer jobs than ever before, putting a major strain on a company’s recruiting staff” says Jason Kerr, CEO of QuietAgent. “This increased workload reduces the time recruiters have to properly review and manage applicants, making it harder for companies to identify potential employees.”
Q-Filter integrates with a company’s existing ATS and allows employers to automatically match applicants - based on a detailed job profile that includes their skills, career desires and their work preferences - and “invite” matching applicants to apply for job openings that are relevant to their skills and career level.
Q-Filter can also sit in front of the ATS, significantly reducing applicant flow joining the ATS to only the best matched candidates based on specific, fully-customized criteria. When implemented in this mode, Q-Filter can reduce ATS hosting and data storage costs, as well as help mitigate privacy and data compliance issues.
Q-Filter utilizes QuietAgent’s proprietary candidate profile and job matching technology, which is used by Fortune 100 companies and governments, and is also the technology behind AllianceQ.
“It’s a growing problem for companies of all sizes” continues Kerr. “The reach of the Internet has made it hard to control the quality and quantity of people who apply, and that has a real cost to a business.”
Q-Filter ensures that job applicants are directed to openings where they have the best chance to succeed, and it allows recruiters to spend more time with fewer, but more qualified, candidates to ensure they make the right hire.
