Job seekers move to a ‘single résumé for any job in any country’, and employers can now confidently consider candidates with overseas qualifications.
Chicago, IL (December 12, 2008) – QuietAgent today announced the launch of its latest innovation in anonymous data matching; the ability for job seekers to accurately specify their education by selecting from global qualification listings in their local language – and the ability for employers to find people who have completed foreign qualifications that are equivalent to what they are looking for.
Recruiters in some industries, such as those who source health professionals, are often experts in analyzing global equivalencies for desired qualifications. But for most employers, foreign qualifications represent a huge obstacle in the recruitment process, with many reluctant to consider non-US qualifications or certifications.
QuietAgent CEO Jason Kerr explains, “An employer might search QuietAgent for candidates who have a minimum of, say, a US Masters Degree in Business. QuietAgent can now also show them candidates who have the equivalent qualifications from other countries. Basically, we have mapped the education curriculum globally.”
QuietAgent’s single global résumé already allows job seekers to easily capture their globally transferable skills, qualifications, workplace tasks and working styles and preferences. “Adding education was the next logical step,” says Kerr.
QuietAgent strives to build tools that allow any employer to easily become a sophisticated recruiter. Kerr continues “You don’t need to do the research to find out that the Spanish ‘Título de Licenciado’ is equivalent to a US Masters Degree. QuietAgent carries out the intelligent data match for you.”
Kerr concludes, “From the very beginning with QuietAgent, we set out to solve the problems of online recruitment, and to better serve the wants and needs of job seekers, employers and recruiters globally. The work we have undertaken in 2008 has taken us a major step towards truly revolutionizing the experience of recruiting; the creation of a single, globally understandable résumé for any job in any country.”
QuietAgent’s candidate matching tools have been used since 2004 by employers, recruiters, governments and workforce and community organizations to pinpoint the best qualified and mutually interested anonymous candidates. QuietAgent is the power behind AllianceQ, a collaboration of industry-leading Fortune 500 companies that have come together to build a free, exclusive and continually growing pool of job candidates to drive down their cost of recruiting.
