Chicago, IL (April 11, 2002) QuietAgent, Inc., a Chicago based provider of recruitment software, has entered into a strategic partnership with Mariner7, a New Zealand based provider of online Human Resource solutions, to integrate Mariner7’s unique psychometric evaluation software into QuietAgent’s comprehensive recruitment management software. With the addition of Mariner7’s Talent Engine®, QuietAgent’s clients can now psychometrically profile job seeker preferences against known job goals.
QuietAgent’s software is a complete recruitment tool that enables the creation of a recruitment website to collect and manage job seeker CVs (job applications or résumés), for any job in any industry. QuietAgent’s software has been designed to give full control of the recruitment process to the employer, with none of the costs associated with recruiting.
“Integrating Mariner7’s software within our product closes the loop on the recruitment process”, says Jason Kerr, President and CEO of QuietAgent. “Together we provide a powerful and flexible recruiting solution with industry-strength psychometric profiling in an easy to use and very cost effective environment”.
Mariner7 has developed a unique, user-friendly interface that enables applicants to interactively build profiles of themselves online, rather than have to work through a lengthy questionnaire. The process is fast, insightful and straightforward.
Dr. Paul Barrett, Mariner7’s Chief Psychologist said, “What has emerged here is a completely new assessment technology that measures work preferences (instead of the more usual personality tests). These preferences are important predictors of job satisfaction, positive work attitude and staff turnover. The tool provides a powerful and objective basis from which to make recruitment decisions – unlike any other product offered on the market.”
Mariner7, a Carter Holt Harvey company (a leading NZ business and employer), launched Talent Engine® in November 2001, to considerable interest from the business world, the recruitment industry and the psychometric community. With the signing of the partnership with U.S. based QuietAgent, Inc., Mariner7 continues on its drive to enter new markets and deliver the best HR products in the market. Heather Miles, CEO of Mariner7 said, “After extensive research on the US recruitment industry, we concluded QuietAgent had the best product available in that market, and we are very pleased to be able to forge an alliance with them”.
QuietAgent, Inc. is a privately held Delaware corporation, operating in Chicago, IL, and Christchurch, New Zealand. QuietAgent provides leading edge Recruitment Management software that gives employers the ability to easily build, deploy and manage an entire interactive recruiting website, and then define an internal company-wide recruiting process to manage thousands of job seekers, while removing 90% of the typical administration time and cost.
